Personnel goods production training: Having extra income and job opportunities for staff families

The personal goods production training course jointly conducted by the Department of Protection of Ethnic Rights, the Department of Cooperatives and Rural Development and the Small Scales Industry Department was opened at the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on Monday.

At the event, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung said that the training aims to learn the method on production of personal goods by the staffs and staff families of the Ministry, to get their extra income on the other hand by establishing mirco, small and medium enterprises and to have job opportunities for staff families.

The trainers from the Small Scales Industry Department of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development will conduct personal goods production methods such as liquid soap, liquid laundry soap, shower cream, dishwashing liquid, various types of soaps, natural shampoo, soap cream and hand gel for 5 days.

The staffs and their families who will take part in the personal goods production will be able to learn the production methods in the course and it will support them to earn extra income on the other hand as well as for the progress of the state’s economy. Later, the Director General of the Department of Protection of Ethnic Rights explained about opening of the course. The Union Minister then viewed around the teaching aids to be used in the training and the trainers conducted him around there. The training course will be conducted to 20 trainees for 5 days from 13th to 17th March.
