Permanent Residence: Central Committee meeting for granting permission

Central Committee on Implementation of Permanent Residence in Myanmar held meeting at the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Chairman of the Central Committee Union Minister U Myint Kyaing discussed the work implementation on scrutinizing process for the permanent residence in line with the regulations. After the meeting, personal interviews were conducted to 33 applicants for the PR system.

Once the permission was granted, necessary measures will be made for issuing the residency certificates. Since the enactment of Bylaws for the permanent residence, 810 individuals have applied for it, and 699 have been granted among them.
