Performing Arts Competition: Victory Flag handed over to the Chin State Representing Team

A handover ceremony of victory flag to the Chin State representative team which is going to take part the 25th Silver Jubilee Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition took place on 25th September.

The ceremony was held at the meeting hall of the state government office in Hakha Township, and Acting Chief Minister, Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Thein Tun Aung attended the ceremony and said that Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition is an annual celebration with the aims of preserving national cultural heritage.

He also called for the efforts of the participants in promoting Chin traditional cultural heritage through national level stage, raising the prestige of the state. It was followed by the reports on preparedness for successful participation of the contestants in the competition.

During the ceremony, 4.6 million kyats cash assistance and victory flag were presented to the representative team. Then, the attendees enjoyed the performance of Min Dat Chin Traditional Dance by the representative team.
