Performing Arts Competition: Shan State Government holds a coordination meeting

A Work Coordination Meeting (2/2023) for the successfully holding of 24th Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition was held on Wednesday at the office of the Shan State Government in Taunggyi.

At the meeting, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, in his capacity as Patron of the Shan State Leading Organizing Committee for 24th Myanmar Performing Arts Competition, stressed that for Shan traditional cultural dance category, it is needed to choose the dance troupe which can portray the genuine traditional culture of Shan ethnic.

He also emphasized to use the original Shan traditional attires and accessories to participate in the competition. He reiterated that the Shan State Government will conduct the State level competition systematically in accordance with the rules and regulation. Then, the Chairman of the committee and concerned officials made sector wise discussions and the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements, before making the closing remarks.
