People's Parliament: Issues On Education, Mining And Timber Extraction Discussed

Pyithu Hluttaw session continued in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Hluttaw Representatives raised questions on uplifting school image, upgrading of school, welfare of the teachers, handing over of CSR funds from Myanmar Gems and Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association, seizing the illegal trading of jade and management on the seized items and granting permission for mining plot.

The session also sought approval for Education Research, Planning and Training Bill submitted by the Ministry of Education.

A proposal on laying down the plans to support technical and capital needs for establishing the Fine-Wood Factories in teak and timber extraction areas with the arrangement of the Government was submitted and sought for approval.

Three representatives later made discussions on the proposal for promoting education in order to have relevant experiences for the major subject in practically and theoretically.
