People's Military Service: Central Body held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

Central Body for Summoning People's Military Servants held its meeting at the Ministry of Defence on Thursday, with the attendance of Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister General Maung Maung Aye.

First, General Maung Maung Aye in his capacity as the Chairman of the Central Body instructed the officials for systematic summoning of military servants. Till today, eleven batches of Training Course for People’s Military Service have completed, and the trainees from each training course are serving nation’s duty at their respective units. T

he Deputy Prime Minister also instructed the concerned official for systematic scrutinizing of applicant registrations under People’s Military Service Law, rules and procedures. He stressed the need for widely conducting of knowledge sharing sessions on People’s Military Service Law, while initiating the National Service Information Management System-NSIMS in order to support the process of listing applicants.

Then, Vice Chairman of Central Body Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Kyaw Swar Lin discussed the systematic management of the applications by the summoning bodies at different levels. The attendees made sector wise discussions, and the meeting concluded with the closing remarks by the Deputy Prime Minister.
