People’s Parliament: Reconstruction, Expense, Education, Workers Issues Discussed

People’s Parliament held its regular meeting on Wednesday. Parliamentarians enquired about plans to reconstruct the bridge No. 2/46 on the Aungpan-Pintaya-Yutsauk Road and to increase expense and pay for ward and village administrators across the country. Questions were also raised on matters including the plans to rename the township “Machanbaw” “Machanbawt”.

The Parliament announced the receipt of educational research, project and training bill amended and submitted by the National Parliament. Parliamentarians also discussed the proposal urging the Union Government to develop Labour Intensive Industry for Myanmar workers working overseas.

Union-level official clarified the proposal and the parliament sought approval.
