People’s Parliament: Questions Raised, A Motion Discussed

The 2nd People’s Parliament holds the 13th day of 13th regular session on Thursday with 9 agendas.  

During the questions and replies section, the MPs raised the asterisk mark questions including to give exact specification of the percentage of university entrance for the students from remote areas to reduce the education gap between states and main land, to specify tender process and designs to complete the constructions of basic education schools provided from the union fund in MyoThit Township, the literature works of great authors of Min Thu Wun, Zawgyi and other prominent authors to put in the high school and middle school Myanmar Language textbooks and other 3 questions.

Those were replied by the members of union level organizations. The Speaker notified the parliament about receiving “Basic Education Bill” sent by the national parliament with amendments and invited the MPs who want to submit the proposal of amendment.

The representative of YayKyi constituency submitted a motion encouraged the union government for the actively cooperating by the various ministries to protect and prevent the non-infectious diseases.
