People’s Parliament: Questions On Ancient City, Religious Building, Monastic School Asked

The second people’s parliament held the 14th day of 11th regular session with 8 agendas on Monday.

 During the question and reply section, the representatives asked the asterisked questions including to revive the ruined ancient city situated about 3 miles north of HlaingBwe Township as a national cultural heritage, the responsible authorities to maintain and protect ThantiThukha Buddhist Center in Tamwe Township from the dangers of destructive elements, the increment of monthly allowances for the primary, middle and high school teachers serving at the monastic education schools, for carrying out the check and balance for the regional government which has interfered with the parliament experience sharing events conducted by the parliament representative as a responsibility of PM in line with the law and other three questions.

Those questions were replied by the deputy minister of religious affairs and culture, deputy minister for the office of the union government and members of union level organizations.

The representative of Mintat constituency tabled a motion on construction and upgrading of inter-village roads for the townships and states where the difficult road transportation has.
