People’s Parliament: Industrial Zone Bill Submitted

2nd Pyithu Hluttaw, People’s Parliament convened its 11th day session with 11 programs, Friday.

MPs raised questions on prompt closing of mining pits at Lo Khar Lo new plot No.3 in Mawchi area of Hpasawng Township, construction of reservoir to prevent bank erosion at Hsi Mee creek in Saetoketara, preparedness measures for conservation of natural disaster and taking actions to squatters in line with Law in Paung Township, arrangement for Aung Tha Kone creek crossing bridge on Ban Mauk -Wun Thoe township-to-township road, Thae Phyu Creek Crossing bridge near Kan Taw village and creek crossing bridges near Min Kone village, adopting plans on road sections and bridge tasks in Mine Rae township, formation of coordination committees in implementing regional development tasks for the locals in Shwe Kyin and adopting rules and regulations, construction of village-to-village earthen road in Namt Kyut-Pan Kauk-Yaung Pan  villages in Met Mann Township.

The Industrial Zone Bill of Investment and Industrial Development Committee was submitted and read out.

MPs also discussed a proposal to urge the Union Government to conserve deterioration of natural environment and carry out rehabilitation tasks with added momentum for better environment for the State and the new generation as well as for their interests by reviewing significant climate change and high temperature in summer season in 2019.
