People’s Military Service: Vice Senior General meets with PMS trainees

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win met with the trainees of People’s Military Service Training Schools at Indaing Station in Yangon Region on Saturday.

The meeting began with a clarification on the recruitment process of trainees for the People’s Military Service, provided by General Maung Maung Aye, a member of the State Administration Council and Union Minister for Defence.

In his speech, the Vice Senior General emphasized that the Tatmadawmen and the newly recruited trainees are valuablecitizens of the nation who will serve the state's defense duties.

He urged all to take pride in their roles, upholding camaraderie and loyalty. He stressed the importance of applying the military knowledge gained from training systematically in their assigned duties, working together with fellow Tatmadawmen. He also highlighted that it is an honor to witness the outstanding performance of the People’s Military Service recruits in their respective assigned battalions and units, earning Bravery Titles conferred by the state. He urged all trainees to continue their training, striving to become reliable individuals for the state, the Tatmadaw, and their families.

After the meeting, the Vice Senior General presented gifts and honoraria to the trainees.
