People’s Military Service Training: MGY CM attended the opening ceremony of batch (4/2024)

The opening ceremony of People’s Military Service batch (4/2024) was held at No 7 Basic Military Training Centre in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region in the morning on 5th August and attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of West Airbase, Region Ministers and officials.

First, the Commandant of No 7 Basic Military Training Centre Col. Kyaw Than Swe explained the training period, entitlements during the military service, honourable duty of serving people’s military service by every citizen who full of 18 years old and the benefits at the post of military duty and job opportunities.

Then, the Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of West Airbase Command, Region Minister for security and border affairs gave words of encouragement and had breakfast together with the people’s military service trainees.

At the People’s Military Service Training (4/2024), a total of 232 trainees from the townships of Magway Region will be trained for 3 months, it’s reported.
