People’s Military Service Law: MSWRR organized an event to clarify the law

Clarification on People’s Military Service Law took place at the hall of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the opening remarks, Union Minister Dr. Soe Win said that it is necessary to know about the current situation concerning with People’s Military Service Law which came into force on 10th February 2024.  He added that the government is distributing right information relating with the Law to the public and sharing the right information to their community is also needed.

During the meeting, background information concerned with People’s Military Service Law, Chapter-wise sections and implementation progress, as well as the implementation of Military Service Law in other countries were clarified. Altogether 230 officials and staff from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement attended the event.
