Peace Talks: SPTT meets with NMSP peace delegation

State Peace Talks Team (SPTT) held a meeting with a peace delegation from the New Mon State Party (NMSP) at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Government Office, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Lt-Gen YarPyae in his capacity as the SPTT Leader, member of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Moe MyintTun, Secretary of the NSPNC Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and members as well as Vice Chairman of NMSP Nai Aung Min and Central Committee Members NaiBanyar Lie and Nai Aung Ma Ngay.

During the meeting, the SPTT Leader and NMSP Vice Chairman extended greetings. They later made discussions on implementation of the matters being agreed in the previous meetings and the stance of the NMSP Central Committee. The meeting is scheduled to continue on July 6th.
