Peace Talks: 3rd day meeting with peace delegations

State Peace Talks Team-SPTT held discussions with delegations led by Chairperson of ALP Saw Mra Yarzar Lin, Operational Commander of DKBA Saw Ba Nyein Aung, Vice Chairman of KNU/ KNLA Peace Council Dr Naw Kapaw Htoo, Vice Chairman of LDU Kyar Phu and PNLO Chairman Khun Thurein at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw on separate occasions in the morning of Thursday.

During the meetings, they frankly discussed matters regarding the presentations of each organization, regional security, stability and development.  In the afternoon, SPTT and representatives of five NCA Signatory EAOs (ALP, DKBA, KNU/KNLA-PC, LDU, PNLO) continued the third day of peace talks .

It was attended by State Administration Council Member, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, in his capacity as the leader of the peace talk team, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Vice Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Union Minister Lt-Gen Soe Htut, Secretary of the NSPNC Lt-Gen Min Naing and committee members as well as peace delegations leaders from ALP, DKBA, KNU/KNLA-PC, LDU and PNLO and representatives. 

They  approved and signed the agreements that have reached during the 3-day discussions and exchanged the documents. On behalf of the attended EAOs, Chairperson of ALP Daw Saw Mra Yarzar Lin and Peace Talks Team leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae gave concluding ramarks.
