Peace Process: NSPNC met with EAOs

National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee held an informal meeting with representatives from Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.

Member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1), Negotiation Committee Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and committee members, Vice Chairmen, Secretaries and Central Committee members of nine NCA Signatories and Non-Signatories EAOs and officials attended the meeting.

The Negotiation Committee Chairman discussed the invitations to EAOs for peace-making process, establishment of a Union based on democracy and federal system, peace, stability and development affairs, further bilateral negotiations and future plans for peace process.

The EAO representatives also made discussions on their opinions. In the afternoon, the Negotiation Committee held separate meetings with each EAO and discussed matters on regional stability, development, health and future plans for peace process.
