Peace Process: NSPNC meets with Political Parties Working Group

National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) continued its 2nd day discussion with Political PartiesWorking Group at National Reconciliation and Peace Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Union Minister for Boarder Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung in his capacity as NSPNC Chairman, committee members, Leader of Political Parties Working Group, delegations and concerned officials were in attendance. During the meeting, discussions on proposal for amendment of the Constitution and holding multi party general election were made.

They also made discussions on current situations and security affairs of Myanmar. The meeting also recorded the outcomes of the 2-day meeting. After expressing words of thanks by Leader of the Political Parties Working Group, Chairman of Arakan Front Party Dr Aye Maung, Union Minister for Border Affairs concluded the meeting.
