Peace and Development: SAC Chairman receives Royal Thai Army delegation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Royal Thai Army Joint Operations Director Lieutenant General Jakkapong Janpengpen at the reception hall of Bayint Naung Avenue in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday morning.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on boosting the existing friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two countries, peace and stability of border region, law enforcement, drugs control and prevention matters and cooperation in combating online gambling and financial scams, especially in the border town, Myawaddy. They also discussed cooperation for smooth flow of border trade, promoting cooperation for humanitarian assistance, and exchange of information between the two countries.
