





Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Indian Deputy National Security Advisor Mr. Vikram Misri on Saturday.
The delegation was in Myanmar to attend the 8th anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) to be held on 15th October. During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for India's participation in this significant event for Myanmar.
They also discussed matters related to the implementation of the nation’s development, peace and stability, efforts to build a democratic and federal union, and the joint endeavors of the government and Tatmadaw for lasting peace.
Furthermore, they explored India's assistance in Myanmar's peace process, cooperation for peace and stability in border areas, the promotion of bilateral trade and investments, and the commitment by the Government and Tatmadaw to the NCA and the democratic path.
India also pledged to continue its support for Myanmar's peace process and expressed strong belief in the NCA. The two sides also exchanged views on the political developments in Myanmar.
