Paying homage: Senior artists paid homage Maravijaya Buddha image

A team of senior film artistes and the artistes of MRTV-4 TV drama series who attended the Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Award Presenting Ceremony paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha image, which is being built at the Buddha Park in Dakkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, in the morning on 7th April.

Later, a responsible official explained about the purpose of the construction of Maravijaya Buddha image, step-by-step excavation of the marble rock to be carved into Maravijaya Buddha Image, conveyance of marble rocks, carving marble rocks into parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Buddha statue, the process of lifting the Buddha image by using a steel tower crane, the lifting-up process, step by step placing procedures, the cultivation of flowers and shady trees around Maravijaya Buddha Park and religious building for green and beautiful environs and the construction status of religious buildings.

After that, the visitors viewed around the Marawijaya Buddha image and the completed and ongoing construction of the religious buildings in the Buddha Park.
