Paying homage pagodas in Kengtung: Shan State CM paid homage pagodas in Kengtung

On the morning of May 14 at 7:30 a.m., Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and his wife, along with State Ministers, the Secretary of the Shan State Government, and responsible officials, visited the Yat Taw Mu Pagoda and the Kyaingtong Maha Myat Muni Pagoda in Kengtung Township, Shan State (East). They paid homage and made offerings of flowers, water, oil lamps, and gold robes.

Following that, the Chief Minister, and officials visited Kyaing Yin Monastery in Kengtung, where they paid respects to the Sayadaw Bhaddanta Khemacara. They offered offertories and cash donations. They also toured the newly constructed dining hall at the monastery.

Later, the Chief Minister and wife, Commander of Triangle Region Command Brigadier Soe Hlaing and wife and officials attended the 68th birthday donation ceremony of the presiding Sayadaw of Thiladhamma Kone Thar Monastery in Kengtung Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Bhaddanta Kawvida (also known as the Wasipait Sayadaw). They paid homage to the Sayadaw and respectfully offered alms items to a total of 45 members of the Sangha.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and his wife, along with the  Commander and wife, State Ministers, the State Government Secretary, regional departmental officials, and responsible personnel, offered the day's meal to the members of Sangha.
