Paying homage to the pagoda: SAC Chairman paid homage to Shwe Mote Htaw pagoda

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by the entourage and Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, Commander of South-West Command Brigadier General Kyi Khaing and officials paid homage to the Shwe MotHtaw MahaCeti in the evening on February 7.

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister and members were welcome by the members of Pagoda Board of Trustee. Next, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister and members paid homage to the pagoda and offered flowers, water and candle lights to the pagoda.

Then, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister offered cash donation for the all-round renovation of the pagoda and the members of pagoda board of trustee accepted and presented Dhamm gifts.

Afterward, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister and members paid obeisance to the pagoda by cycling in clockwise direction and instructed the maintenance of pagoda for the long term durability and to preserve not only the Shwe MotHtaw pagoda but also other pagodas and stupas in Pathein for the admirable appearance.
