Paying a Courtesy Call: Delegation of Rostec paid courtesy call to MoI UM

A delegation led by Mr. Pavel E. Saplin, representative of the Russian Federation's state-owned corporation Rostec, and Mr. Aleksandr Senin, Chief Engineer of Tyazhpromexport (TPE) Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy call to the Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than at the Ministry's Office No. (30) Meeting hall in the evening on December 2.

During the meeting, they held frank discussions on various matters included the work undertaken by TPE Co., Ltd.'s engineering experts for the operationalization of the air separation plant at No. (2) Steel Mill (Pinpet), the test runs of compressors at the air separation plant, ensuring the timely arrival of necessary chemical agents for cleaning pipelines in the air separation plant and Molecular Sieves, the procedures to be undertaken for the comprehensive test run of the entire air separation plant within the stipulated timeframe, matters related to producing medical oxygen from the air separation plant, the situation regarding professors and experts from the Russian Federation's National University of Science and Technology (MISiS) and Stalproekt Co., Ltd. visiting to work towards operationalizing the blast furnace plant using Romelt technology, and matters concerning obtaining financial assistance and support from the Russian Federation for the complete completion of the No. (2) Steel Mill (Pinpet) project.
