Passing Out Parade: 128th Intake of Officer Training School (Bahtoo)

Passing Out Parade of the 128th Intake of Defence Services (Army) Officer Training School (Bahtoo) took place at the Parade Ground of the Training School on Friday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thuddhama Min Aung Hlaing attended the parade and took the salute of the cadet companies. He then inspected the cadet companies who later saluted by marching past in formation. This was followed by presentation of prizes to the best cadet winner.

In his graduation speech, the Senior General urged all to preserve the fine traditions of the Tatmadaw with the understanding of its historical courses. He stressed the need to continue the just war in response to the lawless acts of armed terrorists in cooperation with local community who wish for regional peace and stability. He called for conducting regular training for physical fitness, while striving to become the reliable military leaders in the future, safeguarding the Our Three Main National Causes.

Then, the Senior General received the salute of the cadet companies and left the parade ground. After the parade, the Senior General met with the outstanding cadets together with their parents and relatives. He expressed honour for their outstanding performance throughout the training period, and urged all to continue striving for achieving success.
