Passenger COVID positive on 1st cruise back in Chile

A passenger onboard the MS Marina cruise ship tested positive for the coronavirus on Saturday. The result came a day after it became the first international cruise to dock in the Chilean port city of Coquimbo in 21 months.

COVID-19 tests were conducted on all 1,000 passengers as well as the crew when the liner arrived in northern Chile from Panama on Friday. Chilean health authorities announced one person had returned a positive test, and had been isolated in their cabin alongside a close contact. Both were asymptomatic and in good health.
