Party application rejected: UEC rejected application of the People’s Strength Party

According to the review of the ministries concerned regarding the application of the People’s Strength Party (PSP) for the right to continue as political party and registration under Section 25 of the Political Parties Registration Law, the Union Election Commission found that the People’s Strength Party (PSP) is contrary to the stipulations in Section 6 of the Political Parties Registration Law.

The UEC cancelled the application of the People’s Strength Party (PSP)  in accordance with the decision of the Union Election Commission Plenary Meeting 14/2024 under the Political Parties Registration Rules (g) on 22nd of July, 2024.
