The Louvre Museum hosted a special dance event as part of the exhibition “Michelangelo, Rodin - Living Bodies”, bringing together visual art and performance. Eight dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet performed in two shows titled “Stars beneath the Pyramid,” staged under the museum’s iconic glass pyramid.

The programme featured a series of duets drawn from the company’s classical repertoire, alongside a newly created work by dancer and choreographer Yvon Demolle.  The event also marked a continuation of the long-standing collaboration between the Louvre and the Paris Opera Ballet, a relationship that dates back decades.
