Paris museum presents a unique, political exhibition on Jacques-Louis David

To mark the 200th anniversary of Jacques-Louis David's death, the Louvre Museum opens a landmark exhibition from October 15, 2025 to January 26, 2026.

The show is the first major retrospective of the artist in more than three decades, since the 1989 bicentenary of the French Revolution. David is one of the first artists in modern history to have played a major political role, particularly during the Revolution.
