Paris celebrates after France make World Cup final

President Emmanuel Macron praised the French football team, after it defeated Morocco to reach the World Cup final in Qatar.

Macron paid tribute to the “great” Moroccan team, Africa’s and the Arab world's first ever semifinalist.Macron said he will return to Qatar on Sunday to attend the final.

Meanwhile, in Paris and other French cities, crowds erupted in shouts of joy as French victory in semi-final. Football fans streamed to the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris.

Many were waving French flags and singing “we are in the final.”France beat Morocco 2-0 to reach the World Cup final against Argentina, in a historic match between the defending champion and Africa’s first ever semi-finalist. Fans believed that France was going to win the final.
