Paraguay President on state visit to India

Paraguay President Peña received a ceremonial welcome and a guard of Honour as he arrived in India on a three-day visit on Monday. This is the 1st visit of President Peña to India and only the second visit by a President of Paraguay.

Indian External Affairs Minister called on the Visiting President in New Delhi. President Peña will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and both the leaders will review the existing bilateral relations. President Peña will also meet his Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu. 

The visit of President Peña will provide an opportunity for the leaders to undertake a comprehensive review of bilateral ties, as well as to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
