Parade in London marks New Year's Day

Music and dance troupes representing cultures from around the world brought a burst of color to a gray New Year's Day in London. The annual London's New Year's Day Parade usually fills the streets of the city's West End, but this year the event was ticketed and closed off.

Last year's the physical show was canceled and took place virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions. This year, the event featured a traditional South American performance, a large Chinese dragon, South Asian drummers and extravagant Caribbean carnival dancers.
