Pan Khin Project: Ensure to collect accurate voter list for upcoming election

A coordination meeting on collaboration for ensuring correct voter list through Pan Khin Project was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi discussed that the ministry is making accelerated efforts for meeting the target of Pan Khin Project during the designated period and some regions and states have completed cent percent. The project aims for the eligible voters to ensure their rights for voting as they have the identity card.

The Election Commissions have to work in cooperation with the General Administration Department and the Immigration and Population for collecting voter list. The Union Minister called for cooperative measures among the local authorities and related organizations for collecting accurate voter lists through Pan Khin Project.
