Over 1200 people join Barcelona's traditional New Year swim

More than 1200 people took part in the first sea swim of 2026 at Sant Sebastia beach in Barcelona's Barceloneta neighbourhood, a tradition to welcome the New Year. The event, organised by the Club Natacio Atletic-Barceloneta, has raised around 15,000 euros to be donated to charitable causes.
