South Korea's ousted President Yoon Suk Yeol faced his final impeachment hearing at the Constitutional Court, where judges will decide whether to formally remove him over his martial law declaration. Yoon, removed from office by parliament in December, was accused of overstepping constitutional bounds with his declaration.

Lawyers for parliament compared him to past authoritarian leaders, arguing his actions endangered democracy. Yoon defended his decision, stating martial law was not a failure. A decision on his fate is expected within six months and if removed, a new election will be held within 60 days.
