Organizing Committee Meeting: Preparation for 2025 Myanmar Motion Picture Awards

The Organizing Committee for the 2025 Myanmar Motion Picture Awards held a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, who is also the committee chairman. The meeting reviewed preparation progress, followed by discussions by committee and subcommittee members. The chairman concluded the meeting with final remarks.

The 2025 Myanmar Motion Picture Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 7 in Nay Pyi Taw. Shortlisted films released in 2025 are currently being reviewed by the selection subcommittee. It is learnt that the ceremony will be organized in cooperation with Forever Group Company Limited.
