Order No. 34/2023: Assignment of Senior Military Officers for rehabilitation works

The State Administration Council issued Order No. 34/2023 on Thursday, concerning the assignment for rehabilitation works.

The SAC has declared the areas affected by the Cyclone Mocha as the Natural Disaster Areas under Section (11) of the Natural Disaster Management Law on 15th and 16th May by Order No.1/2023 and 2/2023 respectively.

In order to carry out the rehabilitation measures in those areas, the senior military officers were assigned duties for 4 townships in Chin State and 14 townships in Rakhine State.

Member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San and Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung were also assigned duties in order to closely supervise the rehabilitation works carried by the senior military officers.

The order was signed by Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe, Secretary of the State Administration Council.
