Order No. 31/2023: SAC Chairman grants amnesty to 2,153 prisoners

The State Administration Council issued the order No. 31/2023 on the 3rd of May 2023. The order states that Chairman of the State Administration Council granted amnesty to 2,153 prisoners who took sentence under the Section 505 (a) as a gesture for the Full Moon Day of Kason the ‘Buddha Day’ and in the concept of humanitarian ground according to the Section 401, Sub-Section (1) of the Criminal Code of Law.

The Order was signed by Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe.
