The opening ceremony of the Executive Level Official Training Course No. (16) and the Senior Level Officer Training Course No. (19) was held at the Nilar Hall and was attended by the Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board, U Aung Thaw, the Director-General of the Union Civil Service Board Office, the Rector of the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar), the Pro-Rectors, faculty members of departments of Academy, invited guests, and trainees.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Union Civil Service BoardU Aung Thaw emphasized that for a country to continuously develop, senior officials need to implement the government policies, guided by the knowledge and skills relevant to their respective sectors and ranks, which are taught by the Civil Service Academies.
He further mentioned that high-ranking officials involved in leadership roles in the state administration must continue their work successfully, regardless of changes in the government. It is essential to ensure that civil servants can effectively collaborate and lead the workforce in a cohesive and disciplined manner, with a vision to strengthen and maintain a robust civil service.
Chairman of UCSB also urged participants to continuously strive for improving leadership and management quality, working in alignment with existing laws, regulations, and procedures. He encouraged combining innovation and creativity in their work, while effectively managing their departments' tasks.
The the ExecutiveLevel Official Training Course No. (16) is being attended by 22 trainees, while the Senior Level Officer Training Course No. (19) by 45 trainees. The training period runs from December 2nd, 2024, to January 29th, 2025.
