



The Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) opened 10 weeks long Administrative capacity building Training course No 5 for senior level officials and 16 weeks long No 11 special training course for recruited officers starting from 8th of May. The training courses are conducted with the aim at producing skillful civil service personnel for the country.
Pro-rector, Dr. Khin Mar Myo, Civil Service Academy (UM), said " We conduct Administrative capacity building Training course No 5 for senior level officials because they mostly communicate with the public and it’s really important one. So, subjects related to the laws and subjects providing better services for the public will be conducted for extra. Similarly, the Department of Defense will also give the training practically and theoretically."
246 trainees from General Administration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs attend Administrative capacity building Training course No 5. 283 trainees from the Ministries, departments and organizations attend 16 weeks long No 11 special training course for recruited officers.
Pro-rector, Dr. Khin Mar Myo , Civil Service Academy (UM), said " During the training period, they have to take exams and practical exercises. And also, they have to do their assignments and group presentations. In this training course, there are many trainees from different fields, so, they can share their experiences each other."
Trainee, Naing Lin Aung , said " In this 16 weeks special training course for recruited officers No 11, it’s learnt that political science, social science, computer technology and English will be lectured. I hope that we will get technical and social skills which are essential for civil service personnel through these trainings. "
The No 11 special training course for recruited officers was opened with the aim at understanding and abiding the laws and by-laws which have to be followed by the civil service personnel, to understand rules and regulations and to become skillful civil service personnel in public administration sector.
