Opening of training: Training on enumeration of census opened in Loikaw

The opening ceremony of State level instructor training for 2024 enumeration of population and housing census in Kayah State where the census will be enumerated from 1st to 15th October, 2024 was held at the State hall in Loikaw Township in the morning on 19th August and attended by State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, regional operations Commander, State Government members, State level departmental officials, trainees and instructors.

In his opening remark at the ceremony, State Chief Minister urged the all stakeholders to implement seriously as the nationwide census is enormous and may encounter the difficulties and challenges in the implementation process. As the stability and peace are prevailing in the State, the relevant officials need the collaboration in the cesus of enumeration for the people and the resettlers.

After the State staff officer of the Ministry of Immigration and Population accepted the cash assistance provided by the Chief Minister, a video clip on population and housing census was screened.

Next, the State staff officer presented 2024 population and housing census memorable gift to the Chief Minister, regional operations Commander, State Government members and a documentary photo was taken.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials cordially greeted the trainees and instructors and viewed round the photos of activities on the 2024 population and housing census displayed in the hall.

The educating talk and auditing-enumeration training for taking 2024 population and housing census will be conducted for 12 days from 19th to 30th August, lectured by the instructors from the Ministry of Immigration and Population at the office of State education officer, it’s reported.
