








Under the guidance of the Sagaing Region Government, the Opening Ceremony for Computer Training Course No. (4/2025) and Basic Chinese/Japanese Language Speaking Courses, organized by the Region’s Information and Public Relations Department, was held at the Community Centre Hall of the Monywa District Information and Public Relations office on July 14.
The event was attended by Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, members of the Region Government, departmental officials at region/district/township levels, course instructors, and trainees.
The opening remarks were delivered by Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw. Following that, Colonel Win Tin Soe, the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs, donated 1.63 million kyats to Director of the Department for the implementation of the Computer and Language Courses.
Next, the Director of the Department explained the purpose and significance of launching Computer Course No. (4/2025) and the Basic Chinese/Japanese Speaking Courses.
Then, the Chief Minister and officials took group photos with the trainees and interacted with them in a friendly manner. They also visited the computer classroom to observe ongoing lessons of Course No. (4/2025), and coordinated with responsible personnel to fulfill any necessary requirements.
Later, the Chief Minister and officials attended a special lunch event held at the Monywa Nursing and Midwifery Training School, where they dined together with the school principal, faculty members, and trainees.
During the visit, Regional Minister for Transport U Khin Maung Aye donated 14.5 million to the principal of the training school for a clean drinking water purification system provided by the Region Government.
Additionally, Region Minister for Economic Affairs Daw Yi Yi Than donated 1 million kyats to the deputy principal for the school's needs.
Finally, the Chief Minister and responsible officials inspected the newly installed clean water system, which can produce 250 liters of purified water per day, and ensured its proper operation, coordinating to meet any remaining needs.
