






The opening ceremony for the 74th Anniversary Kayah State Day exhibition halls was held at the Kandahaywan Garden stone square in Loikaw on January 12.
In attendance were Kayah State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, the Commander of Regional Military Operations, the State Chief Justice, State Government members, heads of relevant departments, and local ethnic people. First, the Chief Minister, the Regional Military Operations Commander, and the Minister for Natural Resources jointly cut the ribbon to open the main entrance of the Kayah State Day commemorative exhibition hall.
Afterwards, ethnic traditional dance troupes and Pom Pom dance troupes performed a dance presentation to the song "The Sound of the Frog Drum." The State Chief Minister and State Government members then presented cash awards of honor to the performing troupes.
Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and the attending guests toured and viewed the exhibition halls of various departments. Furthermore, the 74th Anniversary Kayah State Day commemorative Men's/Women's Futsal tournament final and prize presentation ceremony was held at the State Futsal Court in the afternoon.
In attendance were Kayah State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, the Regional Military Operations Commander, the State Chief Justice, State Government members, heads of relevant departments, competing athletes, and sports enthusiastic members of the public.
First, the State Chief Minister and attendees watched the men's futsal tournament final match between the Old Star team and the T&H Success team. Following this, the State Chief Minister presented the individual medals, cash prize, and championship trophy to the Old Star team, which won first prize in the men's futsal tournament.
The winning athletes each received their awards. Next, the Regional Military Operations Commander presented the individual medals, cash prize, and championship trophy to the Aung Khit San team, which won first prize in the women's futsal tournament. State Government members then presented medals and cash prizes to the winners of second prize, third prize, consolation prizes, and the best player awards.
The 74th Anniversary Kayah State Day commemorative Men's/Women's Cycling Race was also held in the morning. The Regional Military Operations Commander presented awards to the first, second, and third prize winners of the men's cycling race, while the State Chief Justice presented awards to the first, second, and third prize winners of the women's cycling race.
State Government members and responsible officials also presented various awards to the winners. During the Kayah State Day commemorative sports competitions, 48 men's and women's futsal teams and over 200 cycling race participants took part.
