The Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung gave a remark at the opening ceremony of Electrical Installation Training Course (1/2023) jointly organized by the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs held at the joint meeting hall of the General Administration Department in the compound of Nay Pyi Taw Council in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 20th November.
In his opening remark, the Union Minister said that this electrical installation training is the very first one that the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs jointly organized. The Ministry of Labour is collaborating with the relevant Ministries and private organizations for the skill development processes envisioning to emerge the competitive labour force not only regionally but also internationally.
Currently, for the workers who have to assist the professional level to become skilled workers and to acknowledge the skills, the National Skills Standards Authority – NSSA is carrying out undertaking by the Ministry of Labour as focal Ministry and the skill levels are categorized as level-1 for Semi-skilled Worker, level-2 for Skilled Worker, level-3 for Advanced Skilled Worker and level-4 for Supervisor.
The Ministry of Labour is giving the electrical installation training, welding training, Air-Conditioner installation training, motorcycle repairing training, motor vehicle repairing training, Air Compressor repairing and maintenance training, commodity production technology training and floor tile installation training which conform to the requirement of labour market etc.
Next, the Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo and the deputy minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Zin Min Htet gave the remarks. Then, the Union Minister and officials posed for the documentary photo together with the instructors and the trainees and viewed the teaching aid materials.
