On November 25, the opening ceremony for the newly constructed Shri Jagannath Temple, which was rebuilt grandly and majestically by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Myanmar) by restoring the original temple structure that had deteriorated, was held at the new temple in Shan Su Quarter, Myitkyina Township, Kachin State. Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htain Nan and the Ambassador of India to Myanmar attended the ceremony.

First, in front of the new temple, leaders of various religious organizations, members of the temple board of trustees, and devotees warmly welcomed the guests according to traditional customs. The new temple was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the State Chief Minister, the Ambassador of India to Myanmar, Mr. Abhay Thakur, Indian monks, and members of the board of trustees. Inside the temple, they performed rituals according to their traditions, including offering floral tributes and lighting oil lamps.

Subsequently, the ceremony continued with opening recitations by Hindu monks, followed by a welcome address by a responsible official from the temple's board of trustees.

This was followed by a commemorative speech delivered by the State Chief Minister.

Afterwards, the Ambassador of India to Myanmar delivered a joyful address. The attendees then watched entertainment programs and performances, listened to explanations from responsible officials, and received honorary gifts.

Similarly, it is learned that on the evening of November 24, the State Chief Minister attended and provided guidance at a coordination meeting held at the Malikha Hall of the State Government Office regarding the regional development projects to be implemented in Kachin State for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, funded by the Union's General Reserve Fund. He also attended the 7th Coordination Meeting of the Kachin State Road Safety Committee (Kachin State RSC) and a discussion meeting concerning the construction process for a vehicle parking zone in Shwe Aik Quarter, Myitkyina Township. He coordinated and facilitated the necessary requirements.
