








The opening ceremony for the new office building of the Central Bank of Myanmar (Mandalay Branch) was held in the morning on December 4. Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended and officiated.
The ribbon-cutting for the new office building of CBM (Mandalay Branch) was performed by Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Transport and Communications U Mya TunOo, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, and CBM Governor DawThan Than Swe.
Following this, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman pressed auto-button to formally inaugurate the new CBM (Mandalay Branch) building. Afterwards, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman performed the ceremonial sprinkling of scented water on the building's commemorative plaque. Subsequently, the Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief and attendees also sprinkled scented water on the plaque.
Then, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman and his entourage toured the interior of the new CBM (Mandalay Branch) building. Following that, the second part of the ceremony proceeded. A video clip detailing the history of the CBM (Mandalay Branch) and the construction completion of the building was presented.
Afterwards, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant presented the handover documentation for the new CBM (Mandalay Branch) building to the CBM Governor DawThan Than Swe. Subsequently, the CBM Governor presented a commemorative gift for the opening of the new building to the Acting President, SSPC Chairman.
The CBM Governor then delivered a speech expressing gratitude regarding the opening of the new CBM (Mandalay Branch) building. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman warmly greeted the attendees. Following this, responsible officials explained the photographic record of the construction of the new CBM (Mandalay Branch) building to the Acting President, SSPC Chairman.
