Opening of military training: People’s Military Service Training (2/2024) opened

The opening ceremony of People’s Military Service Training was held at the military parade ground of No (11) Military Advance training School, Kengtung Township of Shan State (East) in the morning on 14th May and attended by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, Commander of Triangle Region Command MaJ-Gen Aung Khaing Win, Commandant of No (11) Military Advance training School Brigadier General Myo Sett Aung, State Ministers, officials of training School and State level departmental officials.

At the ceremony, the People’s Military Service Trainees saluted the National Flag, Commandant of No (11) Military Advance training School Brigadir General Myo Sett Aung gave a training opening speech and the Chief Minister, Commander and Commandant cordially greeted the trainees.

Next, the Chief Minister inspected trainees’ dormitories and the Chief Minister, Commander, commandant, State Ministers, departmental officials enjoyed the tea together with the trainees at the canteen of No (3) military company in No (11) Military Advance training School and the Chief Minister and Commander provided cash of honor and foodstuff and the Commandant accepted.

At the People’s Military Service Training (2/2024), a total of 528 trainees is attending, it’s learnt.
