Opening of Legal Training: MOLA UM UAG gave an opening remark

The opening ceremony of Legal knowledge dissemination training (batch-1) for the middle level officials was held at MOLA Lecture Hall of the first floor of Legal knowledge dissemination training school under the Ministry of Legal Affairs in the morning on 19th June.

At the opening ceremony, the Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo gave a remark saying that this is the first training given by the Legal knowledge dissemination training school opened by the head of State.

Previously, at the training for the mid-level officials, drafting law, vetting the commercial contracts, practical application of international law and ASEAN laws, matters on the civil law, General legal consultation were lectured as per the subject. But now, the 60 trainees of assistant Directors and staff officers from the relevant departments will be given the combining lecture of all subjects within 24 days.

The Ministry of Legal Affairs is implementing strategic works of Providing Legal Service for Justice and the legal service includes the scrutinizing bills drafted and conveyed by the relevant Department, legal representation on behalf of the Government on the criminal and civil cases across the country, giving legal advice and implementing legal knowledge dissemination etc. T

ogether with the Union Minister and Union Attorney General, Deputy Minister Deputy Attorney General Dr. Htein Lin Oo, heads of departments under the ministry, Directors, training instructors and trainees attended the opening ceremony and took a documentary group photo, it’s learnt.
