Opening of First Aids Training: Nay Pyi Taw Council Chair attended opening ceremony

Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo attended an opening ceremony of basic First Aids training co-organized by the Nay Pyi Taw Red Cross Supervisory Committee and Nay Pyi Taw Office of Education Department was held at No. 11 Basic Education High School in Zabuthiri Township at 8 AM on 3rd April.

Speaking on the occasion, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo first mentioned the humanitarian assistant measures provided by Red Cross Society and the essence of First Aids saying that the first aid skill is the medical attention for the injured persons under the circumstances immediately after the injury occurs and at the location where it occurred before getting to the medical professionals.

The trainees are urged to try hard at the training and cooperate with the partnership organizations and departments as the volunteer members of Red Cross Society. Next, the Chair of Nay Pyi Taw Red Cross Supervisory Committee U Aung Cho clarified the purposes of opening training.

Then, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo cordially greeted the persons present at the occasion and the trainees.The Basic First Aid training will be given from 3rd to 5th April and attended by 60 trainees. In 8 townships of Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, a total of 349 trainees will also attend the training opened at relevant high schools in each Township.
