







Organized by the Ministry of Construction, the opening ceremony of cultural training course for the younger generations of the staff families of the Ministry was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 24th April with the aims for the younger generations to treasure and cherish the Buddhism, to become morally good person and to spend leisure time effectively during the summer holidays.
Union Minister for the Ministry of Construction U Myo Thant gave an opening speech, saying that Buddhist ethics and moral education will be conducted on a special emphasis for the trainees to be overwhelmed by the Buddha's teachings and to maintain lifestyles of the civilized society by opening such training course for the younger generations of the staff families, cultural training course is opened in order to hand down the culture to the next generations, who are the human resource of the nation’s future. And then, he urged all to preserve own traditional culture based on the national spirit.
After delivering the speech by Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin, Union Minister U Myo Thant and wife, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin and wife provided the teaching aids such as 7-categories of buddhist cultural curriculum books, lecture note books and colored pencils to the trainees. After that, on behalf of the patron abbot of the Yan Aung Myin monastery( Nay Pyi Taw), the instructor clarified about the opening of the Buddhist cultural training course, and the ceremony was successfully concluded.
