






The opening ceremony for the training of polling station officers, deputy officers, and polling station members who will serve at polling stations in the upcoming multi-party democratic general election, which is being prioritized for successful holding within Kayah State, was held at the State Hall in Loikaw on November 18. State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin attended and delivered the opening address.
At the ceremony, State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, in his opening address, urged the participants to thoroughly read and study the lessons and operational guidelines to be provided in this training and to carry out the practical work systematically and without errors. He stated that the staff who will serve as polling station officers, deputy officers, and polling station members should uphold their duty to the State, and as good civil servants and public servants, diligently fulfill the tasks assigned to them to ensure the successful completion of the multi-party democracy general election.
Following this, the State Chief Minister presented support funds for the polling station officers, deputy officers, and polling station members, which were received by the State Election Officer. Subsequently, the State Election Officer explained the purpose of conducting the training.
Afterwards, the State Chief Minister warmly greeted and offered words of encouragement to the staff from various departments who will attend the training.
It is learned that this training will be conducted in six batches for a total of 1,195 personnel at the Township Hall in Loikaw from November 18 to November 23.
